FRANCISCA SAZIEā¢
Francisca Sazie was born in Santiago, Chile. She worked as dancer, teacher and choreographer for dance, theatre plays and films. She choreographed many works as Aurelia Aurelio, Anima Mia, Zero, Anatomia de la Felicidad, Asado among others and in collaboration with Black Sheep Carmen Miranda is Dead. She also had receive several awards and nomination as Best Montage and Best Performer 1995 at the Third Festival of New Theatrical Trends Chile, and first prize in the Young Choreographers Category of the First Contemporary Dance Choreographic Contest 1998 organized by the Chilean Dance Union. She was nominated for the Best Choreograph category at the national arts contest Altazor 2000 and 2002, and for the Best Dancer category at Altazor 2001. In 2004 she received laureate UNESCO Aschberg Bursaries in Bangkok, Thailand.
